HOMEWORK
 
Practicing at home is essential to becoming a strong martial artist.  We require our students to practice at least two times a week to participate and progress in our program.  Below are two different workouts that students can do at home.
 
 
WORKOUT #1
warm up- jumping jacks, jump rope, jog in place
stretch
all katas- do 5 times each, level 2-4 should also do in all directions
kicks-do every kick you know - 10 times each, each side 
slow motion
weapons-basics, weapons katas
as many push ups and crunch sit ups as you can do in 1 minute
 
WORKOUT #2
warm up- side to side movement for 2 minutes (similar to sparring)
stretch
combos-all you know- 10 times each, out of movement, each one should be with clearing jab
weapons basics, and katas
one minute each - push ups and sit ups
